Talent Cultivation

An additional objective of GNSS.asia is to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Asia in GNSS-related education and research. This includes via the identification and support of talented students and young professionals who wish to study or work in the alternate region. Furthermore, GNSS.asia seeks to facilitate cooperation between academic and R&D organisations in Europe and Asia, for instance via joint research projects.

These Talent Cultivation activities include:

• Support talented individuals in Europe and Asia who wish to participate in inter-continental educational, training and internship programmes.
• Identifying training programs and opportunities for young professionals to gain inter-continental experience of GNSS research and development activities.
• Facilitating contact between research institutes and university departments in Europe and Asia willing to collaborate on joint activities (e.g. Horizon 2020 and similar Asian programmes)
